" ECF Nature Connection：
First Steps into Nature –
Environmental Education Programme for Kindergarten Teachers and Children"

is an environmental education and community action project under the Environment and Conservation Fund and the Environmental Campaign Committee.

- Our Objectives -

  • To promote the awareness, interest and understanding of primary and kindergarten students in local biodiversity and natural environment, so that they are encouraged to embrace partaking in environmental activities and connect to nature
  • To equip primary and kindergarten teachers with the knowledge and tools to teach about local biodiversity and natural environment, and explore its benefits in terms of creativity cultivation, mental health promotion and stress reduction

The second round of activities in this 2022-2024 programme is now open for application!

Biodiversity Workshops -
Play with Nature!

To help kids connect with the nature through games and interactive activities.

Target: Kindergarten and Primary school students
Duration: 60 mins

Nature-storytelling sessions -
Listen to Nature!

To lead kids into the fascinating nature through stories and hand puppets.

Target: Kindergarten and Primary school students
Duration: 60 mins

"Train-the-trainer" Programme –
Advanced Study in Nature!

To equip kindergarten teachers with skills and knowledge to deliver environmental education activities.

Target: Kindergarten and Primary school teachers, and early childhood education students 
Format: ZOOM meeting
Duration: 60-90 mins
